Party Policies

To ensure every celebration at A Carousel for Missoula is safe, fun, and enjoyable for all, please review the following policies before booking your party.

Party Room

  • Every party includes use of our private party room, which seats up to 14 people.
  • The party room comes with plates, utensils, napkins, and balloons.

Rider Limits

  • Each party package includes a set number of riders.
  • Additional riders may be allowed with prior approval from Carousel staff. A $5 per extra rider fee (cash) will apply to cover staffing.

Locations

  • Parties are held in the Carousel party room.
  • During summer and fall (weather permitting), you may also reserve the Dragon Hollow pavilion.

Scheduling

  • Parties are not scheduled before 1:45 pm on Saturdays during market season (May–September).
  • Parties are not scheduled on Out-to-Lunch Wednesdays (June–August).
  • After-hours parties follow designated Carousel closing times.

Food & Drinks

  • You are welcome to bring your own snacks, treats, and non-alcoholic beverages.
  • Alcohol is only permitted during Flexible Private Rentals with the proper permit and fee.

Decorations

  • You may decorate the party room with table décor or wall items taped to non-mural walls.
  • Please avoid: glitter, confetti, balloons with glitter/confetti inside, and thumbtacks.
  • Balloons must remain inside the party room.
  • Piñatas may be used outdoors only.

Special Requests

  • We want your celebration to be memorable! If you have special requests or accessibility needs, please let us know — our staff will accommodate whenever possible.

By booking a party, you agree to follow these policies so that all guests can enjoy a safe and magical Carousel experience.
